Beginning September 6, 2026, an adjustment to our Sunday meeting schedule will take effect across the Church. While the overall two-hour block remains unchanged, this update brings a thoughtful shift in how that time is used—one that aims to strengthen both gospel learning and connection with one another.
Instead of alternating between Sunday School and quorum/class meetings every other week, members will now participate in both, every Sunday. This means more consistent opportunities to learn, share, and grow together in each setting.

The updated schedule includes:
- A 60-minute sacrament meeting
- A shortened second hour, divided between Sunday School and quorum or class instruction
This adjustment is designed to better support the Church’s focus on home-centered, Church-supported gospel learning, while also increasing regular connection within quorums, classes, and groups.
For youth, this change also creates closer alignment with “Come, Follow Me,” helping unify gospel study across home and church in a more consistent way.
While the format is evolving, the purpose remains the same: to deepen conversion to Jesus Christ, strengthen testimonies, and build unity within wards and branches.
